Technological University (Maubin) and University of Computer Studies (Maubin) have joined together, and Polytechnic University (Maubin) was opened on 21-11-2024. The Chief Minister of Ayeyarwady Regional Government opened the ceremony by cutting the ribbon and pressing the button on the signboard of the main building. The opening ceremony was attended by the Chief Minister of Ayeyarwady Region and Ministers, officials from regional and district level, Rectors and Pro-rectors, teachers, staff, students, parents and invited guests.
